Common questions

Lawn care, yards and hardscape.

When does lawn care start and end in Regina?

First cut is usually in May once growth actually starts, and the last is late September or October depending on the fall. Seasonal contracts run the whole window, so you do not have to call to start or stop.

What is included in a weekly mowing visit?

Cut, string-trim around beds, fences and posts, and a blow-off of walks and driveway so the property is left clean. Clippings are mulched back unless you would rather we bag and remove them.

Do you build patios, walkways and retaining walls?

Yes — concrete and paver patios, walkways, steps and retaining walls, plus the grading and base work underneath, which is the part that decides whether it is still level in five years.

Do you do spring and fall cleanups?

Both. Spring is dethatching, bed cleanout and the first cut. Fall is leaf removal, perennial cutback and getting the yard put away before the snow — which we then clear all winter.

Regina yards at different stages — a cedar fence and gate, a side-yard paver walkway going down, and a patio base graded and compacted. The base work is the part nobody photographs and everything depends on.
